SBI PO Shift 4 Exam Analysis 2025, Prelims Questions Asked

The State Bank of India (SBI) has concluded the 1st day of the SBI PO Prelims Exam, and as analysed, the difficulty level of all four shifts remained same i.e. Moderate level. The questions from all three sections, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability, have been reviewed as of Moderate level. A few questions of Quantitative Aptitude were quite lengthy, calculative and time-consuming. This article covers SBI PO Exam Analysis 2025 for 4th shift of the 1st day, along with information on the number of questions asked from each topic of all sections and difficulty level to assist the candidates who have their exam on the upcoming days.

SBI PO Exam Analysis 2025 Shift 4

Having completed Shift 4 on 8th March 2025, the first day of the SBI PO Prelims exam is now over, and applicants are anxious to learn about the level of difficulty, good attempts, and section-by-section analysis to evaluate their performance. From this time onwards, the bank will also release sectional cut-off marks, therefore, the candidates have to focus on all the sections. SBI PO Shift 4 Exam Analysis 2025

The number of questions that could be counted as a good attempt for SBI PO Prelims Exam could range between 57 to 66 for shift 4. Also, the good attempts are assumed based on feedback shared by the candidates who appeared in this shift. As per the candidates’ reviews, the overall exam was of a Moderate level.

SBI PO Exam Analysis 2025 4th Shift Reasoning Ability

In shift 4, 5 sets of puzzles and seating arrangements were asked, with a total of 25 questions. There were 3 questions from Inequality and 1 question each from Pair Formation and Number based each. No question was asked from blood relation, syllogism, or coding decoding asked in this shift.

SBI PO Exam Analysis 2025 4th Shift Numerical Ability

In the 4th shift of the SBI PO Exam, there was no question asked from Simplification and Number Series. Three sets of Data Interpretation (DI) were aksed in the last shift.

SBI PO Exam Analysis 2025 4th Shift English Language

The topic of Reading Comprehension is based on “Pigeon”. The difficulty level of English section was also Moderate and time consuming as there were 40 questions.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2025: Conclusion

As summarised after all 4 shifts of the 8th March Exam, we conclude that the questions from all three sections were Moderate, lengthy and time-consuming. Candidates who appeared on the 1st day of the exam reviewed that they had to speed up to solve all 100 questions asked. The number of questions from puzzle and seating arrangement ranged between 23 to 25, and from Data Interpretation, around 15 questions were asked in each shift.

Additionally, the number of questions from the English section was 40, which makes it the scoring section, and candidates need to focus more on their vocabulary section to overall score good marks. However, the sectional cut-off marks will also be decided from this year onwards so other two sections must also be focused on the same.
