WB SLST 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are willing to apply for Assistant Teachers for Secondary Classes IX & X and Higher Secondary Classes XI & XII must be aware of the education qualification required and age criteria to be fulfilled.
Education Qualification
Assistant Teachers for IX & X Classes
a) Graduation / Post Graduation completed from a recognised University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution, OR
(b) 4–year degree of B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed. from any National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution.
Assistant Teachers for XI & XII Classes
(a) Candidates must have completed their post graduation with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognised University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution; OR
(b) Candidates must have completed their post-graduation with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognised University and B.A. Ed/ B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE recognised institution.
