West Bengal has released the official Recruitment Gazette on 4th October 2025 for the recruitment of Community Health Officers posts. The detailed notification will be released by the West Bengal District Level Selection Committee under the District Health & Family Welfare Samiti at the official website https://wbhealth.gov.in/.

WB CHO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should know the WB CHO Eligibility Criteria 2025 in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification

B. Sc. Nursing
  • Passed Integrated course of BPCCHN included in B. Sc. Nursing in the year 2021 or thereafter from an institute recognised by the West Bengal Nursing Council
  • They must have registration certificate/ provisional certificate issued from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC)
  • Proficiency in Bengali/ local language & dialect
General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) / Post Basic B.Sc/B.Sc. Nursing
  • The candidate must have Passed General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)/ Post Basic B.Sc /B.Sc. Nursing before the year 2021 from an institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council
  • The must have registration certificate issued from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC)
  • Proficiency in Bengali/ local language & dialect
  • Desirable criteria – Competency in MS Office & Internet
BAMS Doctors
  • Passed BAMS from a recognised Institute/ University
  • They must have registration certificate/provisional certificate from Paschim Banga Ayurved Parisad (West Bengal Ayurved Council)
  • Proficiency in Bengali/local language and dialect
  • Desirable criteria – Competency in MS Office & Internet
