Telangana TET is the eligibility test conducted for candidates who wants to begin their teaching career in the Telangana state. TS TET is also known as TG TET. Every year, TS TET (TG TET) is conducted twice giving candidates double opportunity to appear for the eligibility test. TS TET 2025 June Exam Details

The TS TET also known as TG TET is a state-level exam held every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the primary classes (1st to 5th) and upper primary classes (6th to 8th) classes. Those who qualify for the TS TET 2025 Exam receive the TS TET certificate which is now valid for a lifetime.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification – Senior Secondary/ Bachelor’s Degree exam with a minimum of 50% marks + Passed D.El Ed./ D.Ed. / B.Ed.

Both Paper I & II – Rs. 2000/-

TS TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate’s eligibility in terms of educational qualification for the post of teacher for Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8 are as follows:

Educational Qualifications for Paper I (Classes 1-5)

Educational Qualifications For Paper II (Classes 6-8)

A minimum of 45% in Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent). The minimal score for candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled is 40%. And, in the case of candidates who have already passed or been admitted to the D.El.Ed. / D.Ed. course prior to the publication of these guidelines, pass the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, the 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or the 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However, in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

A bachelor’s degree in the oriental language (or its equivalent), a degree in literature, a postgraduate degree in the relevant language, and a language pandit training certificate or B.Ed. with the relevant language as one of the methodologies, with regard to language teachers.
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or were admitted to the B.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines.
B.E. or B.Tech with a minimum of 50%. Candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled must receive a minimum of 45% of the marks to pass the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education) program.
Four years of B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% of the marks; for candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled, the minimum is 45%.

TSTET 2025 Exam Pattern

The TS TET exam will include multiple-choice questions.
The exam will be held online in computer-based mode.
Every question carries 1 mark in the computer-based test, i.e. for every correct answer candidates will get 1 mark.
There will be no negative marking in the exam, i.e. no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.

TS TET 2025- Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates are required the below-mentioned minimum qualifying marks to pass the Telangana State Teaching Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2025.

TS TET 2025 Certificate

Candidates who declared qualified in the Telangana State Teaching Eligibility Test (TS TET) will be provided a TS TET Certificate. The city of validTelangana TET certificate is lifetime. The candidates have to download the TS TET certificate PDF from the official portal of Digilocker. Candidates who possess it will become eligible for various teaching posts released by the state government.
