SSC GD Exam Date 2025 Out, CBT Exam Starts on 4th February

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has notified that the computer-based test for SSC GD Constable posts has been scheduled for 14 days from 4th to 25th February 2025. Each day, the exam will be conducted in three to four shifts. Lakhs of SSC aspirants after completing their 10th education have applied for the examination and are now preparing well for the exam. The selected candidates will be recruited for the General Duty post of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF forces.

SSC GD Exam Date 2025 Out

This year, SSC has announced 39481 vacancies to be filled for General Duty Constable posts for which computer-based test, physical efficiency tests, and physical standard tests will be conducted to select eligible candidates. To get selected for the vacancies, the candidates have to appear in all stages and score marks more than cut off of that particular stage. As the exam dates for the first stage i.e. SSC GD CBT have been already announced from 4th February 2025 onwards, the candidates who have submitted their applications must buckle up their exam preparation as the exam is heading near.

SSC GD Exam Date 2025 Official Notice

The exact dates for SSC GD 2025 for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 have been announced officially through an official notice at www.ssc.gov.in. The CBT Exam has been scheduled for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 25th February 2025. Further details regarding the respective candidate’s exam date and shift timings will be announced through SSC GD Admit Card 2025 which is expected by the end of March 2025.

 

SSC GD 2025 Exam Pattern

The first stage of the recruitment process i.e. Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for shortlisting candidates for physical tests. In the exam, there will be 80 multiple-choice questions for 2 marks each, i.e. the total marks will be 160. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Subjects included in the SSC GD CBT Exam are-

  1. General Intelligence and Reasoning- 20 questions
  2. General Knowledge and General Awareness- 20 questions
  3. Elementary Mathematics- 20 questions
  4. English/Hindi language- 20 questions

Minimum Qualifying Marks for SSC GD Constable are as follows-

  1. UR- 30%
  2. OBC/EWS- 25%
  3. All other categories- 20%

After qualifying in the 1st stage, the candidates then have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Later the list of finally shortlisted candidates will be released after the medical examination is conducted.
