RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025, 1.2 Crore Candidates to Appear in CBT 1 for 11558 Posts

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is preparing to conduct the RRB NTPC Exam 2025 to recruit candidates for graduate-level positions (Levels 5 and 6) and undergraduate-level positions (Levels 2 and 3). While the official notice has not yet been released, it is expected that the exam will take place in June 2025. Following the completion of the application process, candidates who have applied for these roles are now awaiting the announcement of the RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025. A detailed schedule for the RRB NTPC Computer-Based Exam 2025 will be published on the official website in April 2025. Approximately 1.2 crore (12,167,679) candidates have applied and are waiting for the exam date announcement.

RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025

This year, 5840861 candidates have applied for graduate-level posts for 8113 vacancies, and 6326818 applied for 12th-level posts for 3445 vacancies. Now the applied candidates are eagerly waiting for the release of the RRB NTPC Exam Schedule 2025. Although there is no official announcement, however, it is expected that the board will conduct the RRB NTPC 2025 CBT 1 exam tentaively in June 2025, and the complete schedule will be released shortly.

RRB NTPC 2025 Exam Date & Schedule

The RRB NTPC exam will be conducted in two stages: CBT 1 and CBT 2. The CBT 1 exam is scheduled for June 2025 and will be used to shortlist candidates for the CBT 2 exam. Candidates whose applications are accepted will be eligible to take the CBT 1 exam, and only those who pass will advance to the CBT 2. As per reports, a total of 12167679 (1.21 crore) candidates have applied for the RRB NTPC Exam, out of which 5840861 (58.4 lakh) candidates applied for graduate-level posts, and 6326818 (63.26 lakh) candidates have applied for 12th-level posts under RRB NTPC Exam 2025.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2025

The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will consist of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. A total of 100 MCQ-type questions will be asked for a total of 100 marks. The time duration of the exam will be 90 minutes (1.5 hours). There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
