The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the cancellation of the second shift of the 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II) for 7951 vacancies of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) under CEN No. 03/2024. The examination, which was conducted on 22nd April 2025, across two shifts, and the board has also released the answer keys yesterday. However, it has come to the attention of the board that, despite these measures, some questions from the first shift were repeated in the second shift because of a technical error within the software system.

Yes, according to an official notice released by the Chairpersons of the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), the decision to cancel the 2nd shift was made due to the inadvertent repetition of some questions from the first shift. The RRBS highlighted their commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality in the creation, processing, maintenance, storage, encryption, and administration of question sets. Therefore, now the RRB JE CBT 2 Exam for the candidates who appeared in shift 2 will be conducted again and the new dates will be announced soon at the official webiste.
