PSSSB Patwari Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The Punjab Services Selection Board has set the Selection process for the Punjab Patwari which is based on the marks obtained in the written examination. A Common Merit List will be created based on exam scores to select eligible candidates. There are some criteria when candidates have the same marks

• If candidates have equal marks, their date of birth will be considered
• the older candidate will have higher merit, if their ages are the same
• the candidate with higher educational qualification marks will be given priority.
• If there is still a tie, the candidate with higher marks in 10th will be ranked higher.
• Candidates passing the MCQ exam will be called for counseling to verify their documents.

The Punjab Patwari Exam 2025 has a written examination with objective-type questions on various topics. The exam is divided into two parts: Punjabi Language which is qualify in nature and an examination which is of 100 marks also there is a negative marking of 1/4. Candidates have to finish the paper in 2 hours and 30 minutes

Punjab Patwari Salary 2025

Selected candidates will be according to the Pay Matrix Scale Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, Candidates given an initial pay of Rs. 19900 per month. During the one-year training period at Patwar School and the six-month field training, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 5000 per month, as per the Punjab government rules.
