The Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan (KPB) has successfully conducted the KTET 2025 exam in offline mode on 18th September 2025 at various exam centers across Kerala. KTET Question Paper 2025
The KTET exam will be conducted in two shifts on 18th and 19th September 2025. KTET Category I and II will be conducted on 18th September while Category III and IV exams are scheduled for 19th September. As the second shift of the first day of the KTET 2025 exam is now over, candidates will be able to check the exam level and the types of questions that were asked in the papers. The question papers for KTET 2025 include questions from different subjects for both Primary Teachers (Category I) and Upper Primary Teachers (Category II).
Kerala TET Question Paper 2025
The KTET 2025 question paper includes questions from Child Development & Pedagogy, Tamil / Kannada / Malayalam, English / Arabic, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. After the exam, candidates are allowed to take the question paper home to check their answers and estimate their score. Future KTET aspirants will also download these papers to practice and understand the exam better.
KTET Question Paper 2025 for Primary Teachers
The KTET 2025 exam for Primary Teachers was held on 18th September 2025 in the morning shift from 10 am to 12:30 pm and the exam for Upper Primary Teachers was conducted in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates will see all 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from various subjects. Below we will provide the question paper PDF once it is collected by the students.
KTET Category 1 and 2 Exam Pattern 2025
The exam pattern for Lower Primary and Upper Primary is as follows.
Category I: For Classes I to V (Lower Primary)
There will be 150 questions for 150 marks, and candidates must complete the exam in 2.5 hours
Subjects & Marks:
- Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 Questions
- Tamil / Kannada / Malayalam – 30 Questions
- English / Arabic – 30 Questions
- Mathematics – 30 Questions
- Environmental Studies – 30 Questions
Category II: For Classes VI to VIII (Upper Primary)
Maths & Science teachers should attempt the Maths & Science section and Social Science teachers should attempt the Social Studies section.
1. Duration: 2.5 hours
2. Total Questions: 150
3. Total Marks: 150
4. Correct Answer: 1 mark
Subjects & Marks:
- Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 Questions
- Tamil / Kannada / Malayalam / English – 30 Questions
- English / Malayalam – 30 Questions
- Mathematics & Science – 60 Questions
(30 each for Maths & Science)
OR - Social Studies / Social Science – 60 Questions
There will be no negative marking in both categories.
