KSET Syllabus 2025 for Paper 1 and 2, Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) to assess the eligibility of candidates for Lecturers and Assistant Professors posts in the Universities and colleges of Karnataka. Candidates planning to appear in the Karnataka SET 2025 exam must go through the detailed syllabus and exam pattern to score good marks and clear the examination. Karnataka SET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025

The KSET exam is a state-level exam in Karnataka and will be conducted in offline mode with MCQS format. Any candidate who is appearing for this exam should know about the syllabus and pattern of the exam.  This paper is distributed in two parts i.e. Paper I and Paper 2. KSET Paper 1 Syllabus 2025

KSET Syllabus 2025 has different subjects and topics, candidates must go thoroughly through the complete list of topics as per the exam for which they are appearing. The topic-wise preparation of the exam will help to obtain good marks.

KSET Paper I Exam Pattern

Paper l will consist of 50 objective-type questions each carrying two marks and will be conducted for 60 minutes (1 hour). There shall be no negative marking for each wrong answer. Check the subject-wise number of questions and marks from the table below.

KSET Paper 2 Syllabus 2025

The KSET Paper 2 Syllabus 2025 is different from the Paper I syllabus. KSET Paper 2 Exam Pattern 

Candidates who clear the paper I exam will have to appear for the paper II exam which will be for a total number of 200 marks. This paper consists of 100 questions and 2 hours are given to complete it. There is no negative marking in this paper.
