Kolkata Police SI Recruitment drives aim to fill a total of 309 vacancies for posts of Sub-Inspector/Sub-Inspectress (Unarmed Branch), Sub-Inspector (Armed Branch), and Sergeant in Kolkata Police 2023, for which the 1st stage of the selection process, Preliminary Examination, has been completed. Candidates who declared qualified in the prelims exam are now eligible to appear for the Kolkata Police SI PMT PET 2025, which is scheduled to be conducted from 11th November 2025 onwards. Kolkata Police SI Exam 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for the Kolkata Police Sub-Inspector/Sub-Inspectress (Unarmed Branch), Sub-Inspector (Armed Branch), and Sergeant positions consists of four stages. The first stage, which is the preliminary exam, is qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be based on the candidates’ performance in the subsequent three stages.
