KARTET Exam 2025- Overview
Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is a state-level eligibility test conducted every year for candidates who wish to pursue a teaching career. The exam consists of 2 papers. KARTET Exam Date 2025
Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is scheduled for 7th December 2025. Paper 1 exam will be held in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 noon, and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. Further details regarding the exam will be released along with the KARTET Admit Card 2025.

KARTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test- 2025 for Paper-I (for teaching classes 1 to 5) and Paper-II (for teaching classes 6 to 8), candidates must go through the detailed KARTET Notification 2025 to ascertain their eligibility for the exam.
Educational Qualification for Paper I
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Step 1- Visit the official website of Karnataka TET at www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in.
Step 2- On the homepage, click on “Online Application for Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test – 2024”. You will be redirected to a new page with the online application portal.
Step 3- Click on ‘Online Application For KARTET 2024’.
Step 4- Put User ID & Password and click on the Login button.
Step 5- Fill in your personal details, communication details, and other details.
Step 6- Upload the required documents in the proper format.
Step 7- Pay the required application fee after the verification.
Step 8- Download the KARTET Application Form 2025 and take a hard copy of it for future reference.
