DRDO LRDE Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Notification Out for 118 Vacancies

The Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE) has announced 118 apprentice trainee vacancies for Graduate, Diploma and Technician posts for various disciplines (Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology, Mechanical & Civil Engineering, etc. ) On behalf of LRDE, the Defence Research and Development Organisation under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, will conduct the complete recruitment process. DRDO has started the registration process for a one-year Apprenticeship Training program from 6th May 2025  at the official website https://nats.education.gov.in/.

DRDO LRDE Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Highlight

Before applying for the DRDO LRDE Apprentice Recruitment 2025, candidates should also make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the DRDO LRDE. Candidates who are in age between 18 to 24 years old and have completed their ITI, Diploma, or Graduation Degree are eligible to submit application forms for the LRDE Apprentice Posts.

DRDO LRDE Recruitment 2025- Important Dates

The candidates who are eligible and interested in the apprenticeship training program can register themselves through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) till 25th May 2025. The DRDO will conduct the written examination if required.

DRDO LRDE Apprentice Vacancy 2025

The DRDO LRDE released 118 vacancies for 58 Graduate Apprentices, 30 Diploma Apprentices, and 30 ITI Apprentices. Candidates can check the post-wise vacancies for various disciplines.

DRDO LRDE Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates who are interested in applying for the recruitment of an Apprentice can check the eligibility criteria, and then they can apply for this program. The DRDO LRDE Eligibility criteria have multiple criteria to fulfil, such as educational qualification, age limit and nationality.

Nationality

Only Indian candidates can apply for this one-year Apprenticeship Training Program.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification will be different for different posts and disciplines. Here we have shared the post-wise and discipline-wise Educational qualifications.

1. Graduate Apprenticeship Trainee: A Degree in engineering technology or granted by a statutory University or an institution empowered to grant such a degree by an Act of Parliament or A Degree granted by a statutory University or an institution empowered to grant such a degree by an Act of Parliament.
   
2. Diploma Apprentice Trainee: A Diploma in engineering or technology, or equivalent qualification granted by a State Board recognised by the State Government concerned or the Central Government.
3. Technician (Vocational) Apprentice Trainee: Candidates who have passed out of the Hardware & Network certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)respective trade.
   

Age Criteria

The candidate should have a minimum age of 18 years (as on 25/05/2025).

DRDO LRDE Apprentice Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the post of DRDO LRDE Apprentice will depend on the number of vacancies in various categories and disciplines. The candidate’s selection will be based on their academic merit/written exam/interview round if required.

DRDO LRDE Apprentice Application Form 2025

DRDO has begun accepting online applications from the eligible candidates for various posts. Interested candidates can only apply through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal https://nats.education.gov.in/. And also they have to ensure that they complete their Application Form and submit it before the last date of the registration process, i.e. 25th May 2025. Before starting to fill the application form, candidates need a valid Email ID, a Mobile Number and the required documents.

Steps to Apply Online for DRDO LRDE Apprentice Recruitment 2025

1. Firstly, go to the official portal of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) https://nats.education.gov.in/.
2. Click the student>>register>>button on the homepage.
3. Enter the Mobile number and a valid Email ID.
4. Enter the Captcha Code and Get OTP button.
5. Attached all the required documents as mentioned on screen.
6. Check all the filled information carefully and click on the submit button to complete the registration process.
7. Then, start applying for the Graduate and Diploma Apprenticeships of LRDE on the NATS portal.
8. Take a printout of the Application Form for future use.

DRDO LRDE Apprentice Salary Structure 2025

Candidates selected for the Apprentice posts will receive a fixed monthly stipend for the one-year Apprenticeship Training period. No additional perks or allowances will be provided throughout the training.
