The department has released 218 vacancies for the post of Junior Basic Teacher (JBT), also known as Primary Teacher for Classes 1 to 5. The selection process consists of two stages, first, an online exam, and second, document verification for the shortlisted candidates. To appear in the online exam, candidates must download their Chandigarh JBT Teacher Admit Card 2025 by using their credentials, Roll number/Application number and Date of Birth.

By Application Number

Chandigarh JBT Teacher Exam Pattern 2025
The exam pattern for Junior Basic Training (JBT)/ Primary Teacher (Class I-V) is as follows:
- There will be 150 questions of 150 marks
- Each correct answer gives you 1 mark
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect attempt
- The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours
- Candidates who opted for the Punjabi medium will get the English & Punjabi paper
