Central Bank of India ZBO Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for the Central Bank of India ZBO Recruitment 2025 on the basis of their performance in the online written examination. Those who clear the written exam will be called to appear for an interview. The candidates applying for vacancies in a particular zone should be proficient (reading, writing, and understanding) in any one of the specified opted local languages of that zone (mentioned against each zone).

  • Weightage for Common Written Exam: Interview: 70:30
  • Qualifying Marks in Written Test: 50% general, 45% SC/ST/OBC/PWD
Interview
  • Maximum marks in interview will be 100
  • The Qualifying Marks in Interview: 50% general, 45% SC/ST/OBC/PWD
Language Proficiency Test
  • It will be conducted for candidates (based on performance in the online test and interview) before joining the bank. A candidate who fails to qualify this test will not be offered an appointment
  • Candidates who produce a 10th or 12th mark sheet or certificate having studied the specified local language as one of the subjects will not be required to undergo the language test

The Central Bank of India Zonal Based Officer (ZBO) exam will be held in online mode, and the paper consists of 120 questions for 120 marks. The paper will be divided into sections, and there will be a fixed time to complete each section.

  • The CBI ZBO exam will be held in online mode
  • The exam consists of a total of 120 MCQ-type questions for a total of 120 marks
