To be selected as a constable driver, candidates must first know the selection process, which includes a written test, PET, Skill test, and document verification. CSBC Constable Driver Exam Pattern 2025

The examination for Bihar Police Constable will be conducted in offline mode:

  • The written exam will be conducted for 100 marks.
  • Each correct answer gives you 1 mark.
  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates must complete the distance within the time limit mentioned in the table.

Only those candidates who qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be called to participate in the Motor Vehicle Driving Skill Test.

  • A small vehicle (Jeep or Car) will be tested on a special track.
  • The vehicle must enter the track in reverse using paths AH and BG.
  • Inside the rectangular track, the vehicle must turn around carefully.
  • After turning, the vehicle must exit the track in reverse through the same paths: BG and AH.
  • If any part of the vehicle touches the poles or goes outside the track boundary, the candidate will be disqualified.

Marks Distribution for Driving the Jeep/Car (40 marks): The maximum marks for driving a jeep will be 40, awarded as follows:

More than 1 min, up to 2 mins 5 gears 24 marks
More than 2 min, up to 3 mins 5 gears 16 marks

If a candidate takes over 3 minutes to drive or makes more than 5 gear changes, they will be disqualified.

Bus/Truck (Heavy Vehicle) Driving Skill Assessment: 20 marks

Driving using all gears smoothly, without gear noise 8 marks
Driving forward in the shape of figure “8” 4 marks
Driving backward in the shape of figure “8” 8 marks
