Assam Public Service Commission has released the APSC FDO Recruitment 2025 Notification under the fisheries department through ADVT. NO. 08/2025. on its official website, apsc.nic.in. The online application process for the Fisheries Development Officer will start from 24th February 2025 onwards against 65 vacancies. APSC FDO Recruitment 2025- Highlights

Those candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) from an ICAR-recognized institution are eligible to apply for this recruitment. The selection procedure for this recruitment will be notified by the Assam Public Service Commission according to the number of candidates enrolled.

The application process will start on 24th February 2025 and end on 23rd March 2025. And the last date to submit the application fee is 25th March 2025. The rest of the exam details will be released by the Assam Public Service Commission.

APSC FDO Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

The Application fee for the General category is Rs.297.20, while OBC/MOBC category candidates need to pay Rs.197.20. And, candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories have to pay Rs.47.20

Eligibility Criteria for APSC FDO Recruitment 2025

Candidates who are going to appear in this recruitment must check these requirements set by the Assam Public Service Commission. Check the Educational and Age criteria. If these mentioned criteria will not met by the candidates at the time of document verification, their candidature will be cancelled.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must complete the degree in Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc) from any institution recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Age Limit (As on 01/01/2025)

Candidates should not the less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of Age. And the relaxation is as per the commission guidelines.

Domicile

Please note that only candidates belonging to Assam will apply for this recruitment. They must provide the document of their Assam Domicile.

The Pay scale for the Fisheries Development Officer ranges from Rs.30000 to Rs 110000. The Grade Pay is Rs.12700 which comes under Pay Band-4
