The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced the exam date for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam on 11th April 2025 on its official website, www.apsc.nic.in. The APSC CCE Prelims Exam under Adv. No. 12/2025 will be conducted on 8th June 2025 (Sunday). Candidates who are going to take the exam should check all the exam details carefully and prepare well to score good marks in the preliminary examination.
APSC CCE Prelims Exam Date 2025 Out
The exam will be conducted on the 8th June 2025 for 262 vacancies in 35 district centers all over the state, which include places like Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Tezpur, and others. There will be two papers on the same day. General Studies (GS Paper 1) will be held from 10 am to 12 noon, and General Studies-II (GS Paper 2) will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm.

APSC CCE Exam Date 2025 Notice

APSC CCE Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The exam pattern for the APSC CCE is as follows-
- There are two papers, each has objective-type questions.
Papers:
- Paper 1: General Studies-1 (200 questions)
- Paper 2: General Studies-2 (200 questions)
- For every incorrect attempt ¼ mark will be deducted.
- Candidates must complete the exam in 2 hours
The prelims exam is qualifying in nature, it is used to shortlist candidates for the mains exam.
