UPSC CMS 2025 Exam Summary
To apply for the UPSC CMS 2025, candidates must have completed their MBBS degree from a recognized university. Applicants must not be older than 32 years of age as per as central government rules. The selection process in this examination consists of two stages, the written exam and interview. Those who clear both the stages will be recruited for the Central Medical Services.

The written examination will be conducted on 20th July 2025 for that the admit card will be released 2nd week of July 2025. Candidates can fill out the application form from 20th February to 11th March 2025.

UPSC CMS Vacancy 2025
The Union Public Service Commission has released 705 across two categories.
- Category 1, which covers the Central Health Services, there are 226 vacancies for medical officers sub-cadre.
- In category 2, which includes other government medical officers, there are 450 vacancies for Assistant Divisional Medical Officers in Railways. 9 vacacnies for General Duty Medical Officers in New Delhi Municipal Council, and 20 vacancies for General Duty Medical Officer Grade II in the MCD
