ESIC IMO Recruitment 2025- Highlights

Applications submitted by candidates whose names do not appear in the disclosure list of CMSE-2022 and CMSE-2023 respectively will not be considered. Candidates can apply online for ESIC IMO Recruitment 2025 till 31st January 2025. The age limit of the candidates to apply online will not be more than 35 years.

ESIC Insurance Medical Officer Vacancy 2025

As per the official notification, a total of 608 vacancies from various categories will be recruited to the post of Insurance Medical Officer Grade-II (IMO Gr.-II). Out of these 254 and 178 vacancies are there for the candidates belonging to the Unreserved category and OBC respectively. There are 63 vacancies for Scheduled Caste, 53 for Scheduled Tribes, and 60 vacancies for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) group. There are 28 and 62 vacancies in PwBD (C) and PwBD (D&E) categories respectively.

1. Visit the official website of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) at www.esic.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on “Apply online for Recruitment to the post of IMO Gr. II in ESIC”.
3. Fill your login details like your Email ID and Password provide your correct email ID in the application form and click on login.
4. Now fill all your required details carefully in the application form.
5. Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and other documents.

ESIC IMO Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

Candidates need to submit ESIC IMO Recruitment 2025 Application Fee before submitting the online application form. Eligibility Criteria for ESIC IMO 2025

Eligibility criteria for ESIC IMO 2025 will be based on the Nationality, age limit, and educational qualification of the candidates. Candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria on the basis of these parameters before applying for ESIC IMO Recruitment 2025.

AGE Limit

Age limit criteria for the post of IMO are discussed below for candidates who appeared in the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) held in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Servicemen & other categories of persons as per rules of the Government of India. The upper age limit also be relaxable up to 5 years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and government servants as per the orders issued by the Central Government of India from time to time.

Educational Qualification

1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification is included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian
   Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
2. Completion of Compulsory rotating internship. Candidates who may not have completed rotating internships shall be eligible to apply provided that if selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointment.

ESIC IMO Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Selection of the post of Insurance Medical Officer Grade-II (IMO Gr.-II) under ESIC IMO Recruitment 2025 based on the Disclosure Lists of CMSE 2022 and CMSE 2023 respectively, a communication is being sent to the candidates on the given mail ID, inviting applications at the communication address given thereon. A merit list will be prepared based on applications received and from the marks of the respective candidates shown in the disclosure list CMSE-22 and CMSE-23 conducted by UPSC.

ESIC IMO Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates must be aware of ESIC IMO Exam Pattern for better preparation for the exam. It includes two sections in the written exam and each section consists of 100 questions. No mark will be deducted
as a negative marking in the IMO Exam. Unreserved category candidates are required to obtain 45% marks, OBC category and EWS category candidates are required to obtain 40% marks and SC/ ST and PWD candidates are required to obtain 35% and 30% marks respectively.

ESIC Insurance Medical Officer Salary 2025

Candidates who got selected for the given analogous posts in the Central Government will get a salary of Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/- (Pay Level-10). Apart from salary, they will also be eligible for DA, NPA, HRA, and transport allowance as per government rules.
