Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is going to conduct the IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination 2025 to shortlist eligible candidates for the mains exam for 10696 Customer Service Associate (CSA)/ Clerk posts. IBPS Clerk prelims exam will be conducted on 4th and 5th October 2025 in 4 shifts each day. Candidates appearing for the exam must be aware of their allotted shift timing to ensure they reach the exam venue well on time.
IBPS Clerk Shift Timings 2025
IBPS Clerk Online Computer-Based examination is going to be conducted for around 12,32,000 candidates who have successfully applied for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2025. Candidates can appear for their prelims exam as per their official shift timing allocated to them by the exam authority. Aspirants can check details regarding shift timings, including the reporting time, gate closing time, and exam timing etc, through their respective IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2025.
IBPS Clerk Prelims Shift Timings 2025
The IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam will be conducted in 4 shifts at various exam centres throughout the country. The duration of each shift is 1 hour (60 minutes). Knowing exam shift timings early for the IBPS Clerk Prelims allows candidates to plan their preparation, commute, and exam-day timings well in advance.

IBPS Clerk Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates must carry a photocopy of the IBPS Clerk Prelims Admit Card 2025 with their photographs affixed thereon
- Candidates need to paste their photographs on their call letter and carry more photographs to the examination venue
- Along with the admit card, candidates must bring photo identity proof (Such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Permanent Driving License/ Voter’s Card with photograph/Bank Passbook with photographs/Aadhaar Card/ E-Aadhaar Card with a photograph/ Employee ID). Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid ID Proof.
- Candidates should ascertain the exact location of the venue well in advance of the date of the examination
- Candidates have to carry a ballpoint pen with them to the examination hall.
- Candidates are advised not to bring any of the banned items to the exam centre as arrangements and safekeepting can not be assured.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, bags, calculators, and other electronic devices are prohibited inside the exam centre.
