The Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test (MP SET) is a state-level exam and the purpose of the MP SET is to evaluate candidates’ knowledge and ability for the position of Assistant Professor in Madhya Pradesh’s institutions and colleges. MP SET Exam Date 2025

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released a short official notice regarding the MP SET Exam Date 2025. The Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2025 is expected to be held in January 2026 for a total of 31 subjects. Exam-related details, such as exam date, exam timing, exam venue etc will be released along with the admit card.

MP SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must check the eligibility criteria to fill out the form and appear for the MP SET 2025. If the candidate fails to fit in the education and age limits, he/she must be disqualified. Here have a look at the details of the eligibility.

MP SET Education Qualification

Final-year students of Post-Graduation are eligible to take MP SET Exam 2025.

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 55 percent marks in a post-graduation degree. For reserved categories (ST/SC/OBC-Except kigilair/ Physically Handicapped) the minimum marks have been reduced to 50%.
  • Final-year students need to complete the post-graduation within two years and have to fulfill the required minimum marks.

MP SET Age Limit

Candidates will not be restricted based on their age for the MP SET 2025 exam. All individuals, irrespective of age, will have equal opportunities to take the test and exhibit their knowledge and abilities, as decided by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission.

MP SET 2025 Application Fees

As per the notification, the application fee for the General Category is Rs 500 (with INR 40 as a Portal Fee). However, the fee for the reserved category varies. The candidates from the reserved category have to pay Rs. 250/-. Without the fee, candidates application forms will not be accepted. The fee will be online mode through NET Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card etc.

Steps to Apply for MP SET 2025

As instructed in the official notification, Candidates must keep the scanned file of their latest passport-size photograph and signature ranging from 25 KB to 200 KB, which will be required while filling up the form. To Apply for MP SET 2025, Candidates need to follow the steps.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, https://mppsc.mp.gov.in/.

Step 2: On the Home Page click on the application link.

Step 3: The registration page will open. Fill in the required details such as name, date of birth, and email ID.

Step 4: Next Page candidates will get the application form. Enter all the required details such as personal, educational, and contact details. Provide and upload all the necessary documents.

Step 5: Candidates need to Pay the application fees through net banking, debit card, or credit card.

Step 6: Review the form and submit it, Once the form is submitted successfully, it can’t be withdrawn.

Step 7: Download the form for future reference.

MP SET 2025 Exam Pattern

  • There will be two question papers in this examination.
