The AP DSC Selection List 2025 for a total of 16347 vacancies of School Assistant, PGT, TGT, PET, and Principal posts has been prepared based on candidates’ performance in the Computer-Based Exam, along with the prescribed weightage system. 80% weightage has been given to the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) scores and 20% to the AP TET scores.

AP DSC 2025 Selection Criteria
The AP DSC Merit List 2025/ Selection List will be prepared based on the following criteria.
- Written Exam (TRT): For AP DSC Selection List 2025, a total of 80% weightage will be given to the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) scores and 20% to the AP TET scores..
- TET Score: A total of 20% of the AP TET scores contributes to the final merit score.
Exception: For PET and Physical Education Teacher posts, only the TRT score counts. - Tie-Breaking Criteria – If two or more candidates receive the same final score, the following rules apply to rank them in the merit list:
(i) Age: The older candidate gets preference
(ii) Gender: Among candidates of the same age, female candidates are prioritized
(iii) Community: The preference order is ST, then SC, then BC, and finally OC
(iv) Qualification Date: Candidates who earned their professional qualification earlier are ranked higher
