DEE Assam Special Educator 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for DEE Assam Special Educator Recruitment 2025, a candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. The candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Assam. Candidates interested must ensure that they fulfill the required eligibility criteria as mentioned in the notification pdf. The eligibility standards for educational qualification and age limit are detailed below.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Candidates must possess a valid Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate for LP level.
- Graduates with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) and ATET/CTET are also eligible; however, no additional marks will be awarded for graduation.
Age Limit (as on 1/08/2025)
Candidates from the unreserved category must attain an age between 18 and 40 years. However, age relaxation will be provided for reserved categories, such as SC/ST, OBC, and persons with disabilities, in accordance with government rules.
