TNUSRB Fireman Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible for the post of Fireman under the Fire & Rescue Department of Works, candidates have to fulfill the required eligibility criteria as specified by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board. Below, we have mentioned the details regarding the educational qualification, age limit, and physical measurements required for the post.

Educational Qualification

To be eligible, candidates have to fulfill the following educational qualification criteria:

• Candidates must have passed 10th class (SSLC) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institute in India.
• Candidates must have studied Tamil as a subject in their 10th standard or equivalent.

Age Limit

To be eligible for the post of Fireman, candidates must have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 26 years. The age relaxation in the upper age limit for the reserved category candidates will also be provided as per government norms.

Physical Measurement

Includes height measurement for all candidates and chest measurement (for men only).

Men:

• Height: 170 cm (Relaxation for SC/ST: 167 cm)
• Chest: 81-86 cm (Normal)

Women and Transgender:

• Height: Minimum 154 cm (Relaxation for SC/ST: 152 cm)
