Education Qualification-

  • For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)- Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University with a minimum 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th or in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.
  • For Statistical Investigator Grade-II- Graduation Degree from any recognised University with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or Elective Subject.
  • For Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institute with a minimum of one year of research experience in any recognised university or recognised Research Institution.
  • For remaining posts- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognised University.

New Changes for SSC CGL Exam

  1. SSC has implemented Aadhaar-based biometric authentication for all its recruitment exams, including SSC CGL 2025. This policy aims to enhance identity verification and reduce fraudulent practices like impersonation during the exam process.
  2. Candidates can voluntarily use Aadhaar authentication at three stages: online registration, application submission, and at the exam center during the test. This involves biometric verification (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition) linked to the candidate’s Aadhaar number.
  3. SSC upgraded its ‘mySSC app’ to allow candidates to apply for exams, including SSC CGL 2025, directly through the app.

The link for SSC CGL Apply Online 2025 has been activated today, 9th June 2025, on the official website www.ssc.gov.in. Graduate candidates interested in the SSC CGL 2025 exam have to submit their applications online at the official website before 4th July 2025 for the recruitment of 14582 Group B and C posts.

How to Apply for SSC CGL Recruitment 2025?

1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at www.ssc.gov.in.
2. Complete SSC One-Time Registration OTR (using Name (as per your educational certificates), Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile Number, Aadhaar Number (or other ID proof if Aadhaar is unavailable)
3. Log in to your Account and complete the application form.
4. Pay the required application fee and submit the application form before 4th July 2025.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern

  • Sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension
  • Total Marks: 200 (50 marks per section)
  • Marking Scheme: +2 marks for each correct answer, -0.5 marks for each incorrect answer
  • Mode of Exam- Online (Computer-Based Test)
  • Duration: 60 minutes (80 minutes for visually handicapped candidates)

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

  • Paper I- Quantitative Abilities
    Paper II: English Language and Comprehension
    Paper III: Statistics (only for Statistical Investigator Grade II & Compiler posts)
    Paper IV: General Studies (Finance and Economics) (only for Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer posts)
  • Total Marks Varies: (200 marks per paper for Paper I and II, 100 marks per paper for Paper III and IV)
